Our continued growth has us seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Creative team supporting the Joie Brand.
The UX/UI Designer will effectively support the Company’s Marketing Team in building and shaping how the user experience affects the entire company, with a primary focus on e-commerce websites.
This role will be at the forefront of design activities: defining how users interact, create, and consume content.
The Day to Day
- Serve as the primary designer and the design gatekeeper for all aspects of the Joie brand website.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, site maps, and other artifacts to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and a seamless user experience to complex designs based on user research and website data and analytics.
- Help influence cross-functional teams and the organization achieve solutions that are right for our customers and adhere to the product vision.
- Leverage the design system and/or generates new components to help ease the transition between design-developer handoff.
- Clearly articulate & defend design decisions and user journeys.
- Analyze user feedback, activity, and iterations to enhance the customer experience
Assist & Participate in:
- Defining strategic direction from a user experience perspective.
- User research activities.
- Refining the architecture, user interface, product features, and end-to-end experience for new features and functionality.
- Presenting design concepts to stakeholders and upper management.

Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design, or other related fields or equivalent work experience or certifications.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of professional work experience in UX/UI for web-based products.
- One (1) year minimum eCommerce, user research, qualitative usability testing, and in-person interviewing.
- A portfolio demonstrating strength in eCommerce website design.
- Fluency in digital KPIs.
- Strong skills in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD (we are a Figma house)
- Fundamental understanding of GDPR requirements and accessibility design.
- Experience working with global team members and contributing to Design System.

- Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant, may include nights and weekends.
