Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Role:
Operating from our New York office, as a Video Distribution Editor, you'll play a pivotal role in helping Daily Mail achieve its goal of becoming the most popular video publisher in the world.
This position demands an experienced, highly organized social video expert with a keen eye for quality control and a demonstrable understanding of video on platforms including X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.

Dailymail.com operates a 24/7 newsroom, and all shifts are expected to be worked from the office. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours.

- Strategic Publishing: Activate produced videos across various platforms, using your expertise to maximize revenue and traffic
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on video metrics, using data to drive strategic adjustments in distribution processes
- Platform Expertise: Stay on top of social media best practices and editorial considerations to ensure DMG videos adapt to different platforms' changes and nuances
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with production teams and other stakeholders, ensuring a seamless integration of distribution strategies with the company's broader output goals
- Innovation and Adoption: Identify and integrate cutting-edge tools and methods for video distribution to keep DMG ahead of competition
- Process Improvement: Continually explore process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and content quality
- Proven Multitasking: Demonstrable ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality
- Analytical Skills: Skilled in leveraging analytics tools to assess content performance and inform strategy
- Quality Control: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards under tight deadlines
- Proven self-starter: Able to quickly onboard strategic decisions and action them independently
- Social Media Expertise: Extensive experience with and understanding of the nuances of major social media platforms
- Tools: Proficiency in Photoshop, Premiere Pro and familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com or Asana are desirable
