With a commitment to excellence, they offer a full spectrum of services, including preconstruction, design-build, and project management, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.DescriptionLead the planning, execution, and delivery of large construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Manage project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth coordination and productivity.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and vendors, maintaining strong professional relationships.Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and budgets, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.Review project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and submittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Coordinate with estimating and preconstruction teams to confirm project scopes, budgets, and resource allocation.Implement value engineering practices to improve project efficiency while maintaining quality.Oversee adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.Identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshooting issues to maintain project momentum.Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, addressing any challenges promptly.ProfileBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.At least 8-10 years of project management experience with a general contractor, specifically in commercial or institutional construction.Proven track record of managing complex projects with values exceeding $10M.Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid).Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Deep understanding of construction methods, codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Job OfferCompetitive compensation and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and development within a respected organization.Exposure to high-profile projects in the Washington, DC area.A collaborative and supportive work culture.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
