Summary:We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Media Director with a focus on pharmaceutical marketing (DTC + HCP) to join our team at Merkley + Partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies within the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:Lead the development of strategic media plans for pharmaceutical clients, including DTC and HCP campaigns.Oversee a team of media supervisors and planners, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful campaign execution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, creative, and analytics, to develop integrated marketing solutions that drive client objectives.Utilize industry tools and research to identify target audiences, media channels, and optimal media mix.Drive innovation by staying current on emerging media trends, technologies, and new media opportunities.Manage media budgets, negotiate with media vendors, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media vendors, and industry partners.
Requirements:4-5+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on pharmaceutical marketing (DTC + HCP), preferably in a Marketing Advertising AgencyPrevious Media experience in a leadership or management role, overseeing a team of media professionals.Strong understanding of media planning principles, including audience targeting, media buying, and campaign optimization.Experience with media planning tools.Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
