About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Foundation Marketing and Community Engagement to lead the future of engagement and fundraising. The role involves overseeing the development and execution of a performance brand marketing strategy that aligns with the corporate brand, lifting fundraising and impact across all assets and channels. The VP will be responsible for creating an omnichannel campaign brand, developing compelling impact stories, and leading the marketing and communications programs to ensure donor-centric messaging. They will also manage a substantial budget, set and monitor goals for the annual giving program, and lead a team to achieve the Foundation's fundraising goals. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader, proficient in data analytics and performance metrics, and will have experience in managing and leading a team to meet strategic goals.. Key responsibilities include overseeing cause marketing and peer-to-peer programs to grow fundraising revenues and brand awareness, and direct marketing strategies to support acquisition, retention, and donor pipeline growth. The VP will work in close collaboration with the Foundation's leadership team and the health system's marketing and communications team to ensure a cohesive brand marketing strategy. The successful candidate will be a seasoned leader with a minimum of 7 years' of experience in marketing, direct marketing, digital communications, annual giving, or a related field, and must have a proven track record in brand leadership and revenue generation, preferably in a non-profit development environment. They should be adept at combining traditional and innovative marketing methods to support the business and the Foundation's reach. A strong educational background, excellent communication, strategic planning, and interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires a creative, organized, and proactive individual who can interact with a diverse population and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
