The Web Content Manager plays a key role in managing UW Continuum College’s more than 25 websites, ensuring the content is current, engaging and accessible, and meets the needs of students.
This is a union represented position without a contract.WEB

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce consistently clear, concise, engaging and user-focused content
Manage content development for web projects
Maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with partners
Analyze business and user needs to provide content solutions
Propose process improvements for content development and maintenance
Generate content ideas to meet marketing objectives
Evaluate the effectiveness of content in meeting goals
Apply SEO tactics to improve search performance of content
Develop and maintain content guidelines to ensure content consistency
Evangelize best practices in content strategy and management
Provide consultation on content strategy to campus partners
Stay current with trends in content strategy and UX and look for opportunities to innovate and improve website experiences MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in communication, English, information management or related field and three years of experience in a content management role OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong organizational, editing, writing and project management skills
Ability to meet challenging timelines and work in fast-paced environment
