About the Role:
The Content Studio Operations Manager will oversee a team within the PCHI Center of Excellence (COE) to plan, coordinate, and optimize the execution of omni-channel photographic and video content for go-to-market asset creation across PCHI's portfolio. This content will be activated across owned, earned, and paid marketing channels, in-store communication, product packaging, and catalogs. The Manager will lead the internal multimedia content studio, which includes full-time and part-time contractors, while also coordinating external photography and video creation efforts. The focus will be on efficiently producing customer-centric content that aligns with brand and business goals, driving both superior customer experiences and business growth.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as a key advocate for the role multimedia content plays in delivering strategic and economic value.
- Champion the ongoing growth of an internal multimedia content creation team.
- Work closely with brand, marketing, internal and external creative teams to design new workflows and improve existing ones to boost efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with channel owners and agencies to conduct content audits and gap analysis, recommending improvements for content creation and operations.
- Oversee daily news tracking and reporting.
- Partner with brand and creative teams to consistently elevate brand storytelling through imagery, supporting the brand transformation efforts.
- Coordinate all PCHI content activation initiatives, working with merchandising, product, marketing, manufacturing, wholesale, and studio teams to ensure content meets channel objectives.
- Build and share content and shoot calendar with the broader team.
- Advise on and oversee the approach and activation plan for all phases of multimedia content production, from concept to delivery.
- Determine innovative ways to capture and create photo/videos including leveraging CGI, AI, other technologies.
- Oversee the governance, delivery, retrieval, and management of all content in various formats.
- Manage the annual content operating budget, ensuring funds are allocated to the highest-priority initiatives across the company.
- Lead the invoice and payment schedule programming for the total marketing team.
- Develop and execute an annual plan to align content efforts across the organization, building strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Hire and manage models, hair and makeup for appropriate shoots.
- Manage the performance and development of an internal studio team, including photographers, art directors, producers, editors, stylists, project managers, and retouchers.
Skills Required:
- Strong experience in managing and orchestrating large, multi-channel content projects, including video production expertise.
- Proven ability to create strong business cases and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience in marketing, brand building, and communication strategy is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in creative, marketing, or visual content development with a focus on operations and project management.
- 5+ years of experience leading multi-functional teams.
- Strong agency/corporate or internal creative/content/marketing experience, particularly in building new capabilities and managing visual content execution.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Smart Sheets, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
