Summary: The Designer is responsible designing new concepts and designs for a product category within defined theme and seasons from concept through final delivery. Presents and delivers brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print and graphic design for new/existing product lines. Researches and interprets fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand. Responsibilities Conceptualize and design multiple creative solutions 3D package design and the understanding of various packaging types and materials, such as paper, soft goods and cut and sew Assist in the creation and execution of final designs Create Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for production Work with cross functional development partners during product sampling stages Support creation of concept and design options for their category/ies Update design board layouts and printouts, including concept boards Assist in researching trends and patterns for upcoming seasons Qualifications Minimum of 4 - 6 years of prior experience in 2D / 3D design, Illustration and graphic/product design; package design preferred Strong sense of design, typography and color Strong level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills Drawing and computer illustration skills - Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills are required Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography Strong fashion sense with ability to translate into graphic design Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborate design environment Solid communication and presentation skills Store visits and/or customer insights focus groups Education Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience Core Competencies Lead with Curiosity & Humility Build High Performing Teams for Today & Tomorrow Influence & Inspire with Vision & Purpose Observe, Engage & Connect Strive to Achieve Operational Excellence Deliver Business Results Benefits Bath & Body Works associates are the heart of our business.
