The Senior Project Manager of Video is responsible for management, coordination and execution of pre-production, video capture and post-production activities within our in-house creative service team. This includes facilitating and bringing to life polished, creative concepts that are relevant, fun, informative, emotional, educational and fulfill our strategic goals. This individual serves as a subject-matter expert for the Stores Organization and works closely with immediate team, cross-functional partners and leaders to create best-in-class content for our Field Associates.

Responsibilities

Lead and produce all facets of live action and animated video production from concept brainstorming to post-production and final delivery.

  • Manage pre-production planning (including resource and timeline processes in partnership with Project Managers and Leader)
  • Oversee or directly execute video capture and post-production execution and reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with key internal partners and leaders to ideate, pitch, storyboard, present and execute animated and live action video projects.
  • Understand and interpret the creative vision and feedback to ensure accurate delivery of concepts
  • Ensure the brand aesthetic is successfully translated into high quality visual assets.
  • Continuously communicate to keep all partners, immediate manager, and team up to date with project status and needs to ensure all work is on schedule and delegated appropriately.
  • Consult with partners to identify best-fit solutions to meet the creative vision
  • Plan for video capture, edit, and delivery to best meet the creative vision; use working knowledge of editing, color grading, motion graphic, and other post-production software for efficient and high-quality results
  • Create consistencies across the video team ensure assets are organized, accurately named, and archived in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with team members to ensure alignment across business functions.
  • Perform quality checks of work-in-progress as needed to ensure accurate, on-time, and high-quality deliverables for the whole video team.
  • Responsible for meeting all deadlines appointed without compromising detail or appropriate quality of work.
  • Package and release final deliverables to internal and external partners.
  • Support the business with new, innovative ways to create videos that help the business stay on trend through ideas and technology.
  • Partner closely with the Manager to ensure appropriate resources are identified and allocated to all video requests.
  • Identify, manage, and elevate project issues to leadership as needed
  • Motivate and inspire others through dialogue and actions that support our enterprise and department competencies.


  • 5-7 years in a fast-paced corporate environment; majority of those years should be in a video production or editing capacity
  • In depth knowledge of Camera Operation, Editing, Script Writing/Adaptation, set lighting, audio recording, and video/audio monitoring, color correction
  • Expertise in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite required
  • High taste level for typography and design esthetics and supports creative goals
  • Experience leading and directing video projects during all phases of production including comfortability vocalizing talent and on set needs
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support others physically and emotionally
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities through solid organizational, time management and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail to make precise edits as well as delegate priorities appropriately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment under tight deadlines and react quickly to changing schedules, environments and feedback through excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent virtual and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be able to perform the physical tasks necessary to perform videography work such as moderate lifting and carrying of video equipment, set up and take down of various equipment and standing for long periods of time
  • Prior experience managing direct report preferred


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Video Production, Broadcast, Photography, Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
