Summary: The Designer is responsible designing new concepts and designs for a product category within defined theme and seasons from concept through final delivery. Presents and delivers brand-right designs that tie back to the overall concept and business strategy; encompassing style, color/print and graphic design for new/existing product lines. Researches and interprets fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand.

Researches and interprets fashion trends and consumer needs that uphold the integrity of the product lines/brand.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design multiple creative solutions
- Assist in the creation and execution of final designs
- Create Design Turn Overs (DTO) and finalize artwork for hand-off to the Production Team Order
- Review mechanical art work for final design approval prior to release
- Support creation of concept and design options for their category/ies
- Update design board layouts and printouts, including concept boards
- Assist in researching trends and patterns for upcoming seasons
- Provide approved designs and design direction to mechanical art team for development of technical specifications.
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years of prior experience in 2D design, Illustration and graphic/product design; package design preferred
- Strong sense of design, typography and color plus proven expertise in 2D label or graphic design
- Strong level of creativity, conceptualization, execution, organization and design skills
- Drawing and computer illustration skills - Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills are required
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fundamental experience and/or knowledge of design with photography
- Strong fashion sense with ability to translate into graphic design
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborate design environment
- Solid communication and presentation skills

- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience
