Overview:

Topdrawer, a luxury brand providing premium tools for creative people, is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to elevate the brand's visual presence across its 16 stores and omni-channel platform. Topdrawer specializes in proprietary products such as premium sunglasses, fine pens, Japanese handkerchiefs, and other thoughtfully designed goods. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in driving brand growth, overseeing the creation of compelling content for both digital and print, with a strong focus on social media and influencer marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Visual Identity:

  • Design and create visual assets that align with Topdrawer’s brand identity across all channels, including website, stores, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain a cohesive visual style that reflects the brand’s luxury, craftsmanship, and creative-focused positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Art Director and marketing team to ensure consistency in design across all platforms.

Social Media & Influencer Marketing:

  • Design engaging and visually compelling content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest to attract and retain Topdrawer’s target audience.
  • Work with influencers and content creators to produce branded materials that resonate with their followers and maintain the brand’s aesthetic.
  • Keep up with social media design trends and incorporate them into content strategies to increase engagement and visibility.

E-Commerce & Digital Design:

  • Design user-friendly website assets, including banners, landing pages, product images, and promotional graphics, to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Create email marketing templates and digital advertisements (including display ads and social media ads) that drive traffic and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize visual content and improve the website’s design for better customer interaction.

In-Store Design:

  • Design in-store signage, window displays, product packaging, and promotional materials to ensure a high-end, visually appealing retail environment.
  • Work closely with the retail team to create eye-catching visuals that enhance the shopping experience and drive store traffic.
  • Assist in designing event materials and support creative aspects of in-store marketing initiatives.

Creative Content Development:

  • Develop and design branded content such as lookbooks, product brochures, and print materials for marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and external creative agencies to produce high-quality visual content that highlights Topdrawer’s proprietary products.
  • Manage and maintain a library of visual assets, ensuring quick access to relevant materials for use in campaigns.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Partner with the marketing, product, and retail teams to align visual content with campaign goals and brand storytelling.
  • Work with the merchandising team to design packaging and labels that reflect Topdrawer’s luxury branding and product quality.
  • Support the development of creative briefs and provide design solutions for various cross-functional projects.

Trend Analysis & Innovation:

  • Stay informed about design trends in the luxury, creative tools, and retail industries, applying innovative techniques to keep Topdrawer’s visuals fresh and competitive.
  • Regularly review competitors’ visual strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with a portfolio showcasing work in retail, e-commerce, or luxury brands.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Experience designing for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing.
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy to create high-end, visually impactful designs.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in designing for luxury or niche lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and website content management systems (CMS).
  • Interest or background in creative industries, design, or art.
