A Event and Wedding Coordinator's job is to plan and execute all aspects of a wedding, from the initial consultation to the final cleanup:

  • Guidance: Provide guidance to the wedding party and guests, moving them to the correct location for each activity.
  • Other tasks: Handle paperwork, make phone calls, manage bathrooms, and monitor electricity
  • Planning: Meet with the couple to understand their vision, arrange the date and location, and create a budget. Take bids on venues and services, and keep track of payments.
  • Communication: Work with vendors to review contracts and confirm logistics. Respond to emails from clients and vendors.
  • Timeline: Create a detailed timeline and floor plans.
  • Rehearsal: Attend and coordinate the rehearsal.
  • Execution: Oversee the wedding day, including the ceremony, reception, and cleanup. Ensure everything runs smoothly and aligns with the couple's preferences.
  • Logistics: Manage the guest list, seating arrangements, and decor. Ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and legally, such as confirming the marriage license and witnesses.
