We are seeking part-time Social Media Influencer Marketer to join our growing direct-to-consumer company, focused on driving the growth of QuickTakes, an AI study companion app for college students. The ideal candidate will specialize in identifying, recruiting, and managing relationships with college/study-related influencers on TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube to create engaging content that drives app installs.
Key Responsibilities:
Influencer Research and Identification:
Research and identify relevant influencers, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, that align with our target audience of college students (17-25 primarily in the US and Canada). Use influencer discovery platforms to find candidates who have the right mix of engagement, reach, and content alignment with the QuickTakes brand. Evaluate influencers based on audience demographics, content quality, engagement rates, and authenticity.
Influencer Outreach and Recruitment:
Develop and execute outreach strategies to connect with influencers who fit the brand and are interested in promoting QuickTakes.Initiate contact, pitch the campaign objectives, and secure influencer agreements.
Negotiate contracts and deliverables with influencers while adhering to the company's budget and guidelines.
Campaign and Relationship Management:
Manage day-to-day relationships with influencers, ensuring a positive and mutually beneficial partnership.
Oversee content creation timelines, ensuring influencers create and publish high-quality videos or posts in accordance with brand standards and deadlines. Provide clear guidance and resources to influencers for creating authentic and compelling content that drives installs.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance:
Handle contract negotiations, ensuring terms around content creation, timelines, compensation, and usage rights.
Tracking and Performance Metrics:
Monitor influencer campaigns, tracking performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates to measure the effectiveness of content in driving QuickTakes app installs.
Provide reports on campaign outcomes, influencer performance, and key learnings to optimize future campaigns.
Budget and Payment Management:
Manage influencer payments, ensuring timely and accurate compensation based on contract terms.
Track expenses to stay within budget and report on the financial impact of influencer partnerships.
QuickTakes Social Media Brand Profiles Management:
Limited part-time posting and responding to our brand profiles for Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing or a related role.
- Proven track record of managing influencer marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram and Youtube Shorts and the social media landscape, particularly in the context of influencer-driven content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for influencer outreach, contract negotiations, and content feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and relationships simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret performance metrics and campaign ROI.
- Passion for social media trends, especially in the college student demographic.
- Ability to work 60 hours a month minimum and up to 80 hours a month, depending on seasonality in the PST timezone.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing apps or direct-to-consumer products.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and influencer compensation models.
