We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Associate to join their Marketing Team. Headquartered in Southern California, our company n is a leading maker of medical uniforms, lab coats, and accessories. The company specializes in stylish, form-flattering scrubs for women and men, with its products currently sold online and at over 1,000 retail locations in the United States, Canada, and more than 50 countries worldwide. This position will be based at a hybrid work environment located in Torrance, California.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Marketing Associate is responsible for marketing content and asset creation, publishing, and performance reporting. The Marketing Coordinator acts as the company's marketing expert, keeping the company’s marketing approach in line with industry trends and best practices.

  • With direction from the Marketing Director, assist in the development of annual and quarterly marketing strategy

  • Responsible for the development and execution of the annual marketing calendar

  • Manage the production and distribution of our our owned content and marketing materials

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Associate will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for helping to create and execute the company’s annual Marketing plans. We are a small but mighty team and the successful applicant will be self-motivated, comfortable rolling up their sleeves, with proven experience executing marketing and communications plans pinpointed on achieving the business’ set goals. We are looking for a “Jack of all trades”, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have both a creative and analytical mind with an eagerness to learn.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing:

  • Working with the Director of Marketing, help define the company's annual marketing strategy to align with the company’s objectives

  • Manage the company's social media accounts including scheduling posts and answering DMs via Facebook and Instagram

  • Act as Marketing subject matter expert, staying updated on industry best practices and trends, continually improving our plans

  • Help manage marketing digital and print assets 

  • Coordinate with the Sales Team for retail support assets including POP, catalogs, brochures, etc. 

Content:

  • Assist in the development of the company's annual content calendar in alignment with the marketing strategy

  • Own the creation of marketing content and materials per the marketing plan, including content creation and copywriting as required for social media platforms

  • Coordinate the production and deployment of all the company's digital still and video content
     

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in marketing strategy and execution

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Graphic design skills (Portfolio preferred)

  • Proactive and creative problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail and a creative eye

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace

  • Desire to learn and grow their experience in the marketing field

 

SALARY: $55k - $60k Annually
