Summary

The Marketing Manager owns the end-to-end development, management, and measurement of marketing initiatives to deliver exceptional customer experiences, create value for target audiences, and drive growth. This includes creating and executing traditional and digital marketing campaigns, customer relationship management programs, lead procurement and retention strategies, brand touchpoints, and public relations efforts to support various business objectives. The Marketing Manager position requires strong strategic vision, collaborative skills, and the passion and ability to define, develop, and execute impactful marketing strategies to support key initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a blended background in integrated campaign management and has a proven record of producing results across multiple vehicles, including email, SEO, PPC, social media, direct mail, content marketing, webinars and events.

Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Own all digital and offline marketing channels, routinely report KPIs, and optimize performance to meet organizational objectives
  • Create data-driven customer segmentation strategies, manage delivery and reporting
  • Develop business cases for new marketing initiatives and own strategy formulation and execution
  • Assess trends in the mechanical, spray foam, building, and metal building insulation markets to identify growth opportunities
  • Manage marketing budget and make suggestions for improving fundamental metrics such as ROI, CPL, CPC, and CLV

Content Creation and Campaign Management:

  • Build, implement, and evaluate integrated, omnichannel campaigns to support sales goals
  • Write, deploy, and measure results of marketing emails, social media posts, technical articles, PPC and print ads, presentations, webinars, website pages and blog posts
  • Lead development, creation, and distribution of multimedia content, including product and job site photography, micrographics, and video
  • Maintain campaign calendar, ensuring timely execution and alignment across the business

Digital Marketing:

  • Analyze SEO and PPC reports, propose modifications to improve traffic, engagement, and conversions; perform optimizations
  • Establish and manage social media calendar to align with business goals, curate and schedule content and paid ads, track and report key metrics
  • Research and copywrite longform blog posts and other website content; source and package accompanying visual assets
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategies; craft compelling emails, A/B test, segment, deploy, and measure

Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional and external teams, including sales, management, and strategic partners, to actualize marketing plans and foster brand equity
  • Play an active role on our team in defining marketing plans
  • Manage relationships with third party marketing agencies and vendors
  • Remain current on traditional and digital marketing trends
  • Enforce brand guidelines for SPI and portfolio companies across all channels


Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar discipline
  • 5-7 years demonstrated successful experience in traditional and digital marketing, including strategic planning and execution across vehicles such as PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, webinars, direct mail, trade shows, etc.
  • Proficient in Google Ads, Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, Hootsuite, and all social media platforms
  • Well-versed in email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting established timelines
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborates positively and effectively with all areas of the business
  • Experience in B2B preferred
  • Manufacturing or distribution experience a plus
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365

  • Remote
