Brand Marketing Manager

Onsite in Raleigh, North Carolina (generous relocation package available)

$90-115k + annual bonus!


Our client, a lifestyle apparel brand for men & women, is looking for a Full-time Brand Marketing Manager to join their team! The Manager’s key responsibility is to ensure the execution of Brand Communication plans with an Omnichannel approach across all channels, including Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce.


They will Partner with creative, ecommerce, and digital marketing teammates to ensure our brand is cohesively represented across all marketing touch points and drive brand vision for the complete sales cycle from sell-in to sell-through for the brand. Amplify seasonal GTM programs across all channels


Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-To-Market:
  • Lead the ideation and execution of integrated, seasonal GTM plans that connect and engage consumers throughout the entire consumer journey. Develop and maintain the monthly brand storytelling marketing calendar. Partner with distribution channels and marketing channel owners to align on seasonal objectives and drive superior execution across the marketing mix. Brief internal creative team members execution of integrated brand, seasonal, and product marketing campaigns.


  • Brand:
  • Establish relationships with key brand partners to drive brand awareness and consideration. Along with other marketing functional areas, develop a full-funnel media plan. Partner with external research partners on consumer insights studies that will inform all marketing efforts, including brand tracking and qualitative research. Routinely share marketing plans, program results and learnings, and relevant industry trends with the broader organization. Prepare omni-channel marketing briefs and maintain across channel owners. Manage related marketing budget line items, ensuring expenses are within budget and savings are delivered as required. Monitor competitive marketing activity and share key learnings with the organization.


  • Wholesale:
  • Create seasonal marketing plans for wholesale accounts that build brand awareness, drive retail traffic, and increase sell-through on a national, regional and local level. Tactics include seasonal toolkits, digital and social advertising, consumer promotions, sales associate contests, in-store merchandising, and event marketing. Work with marketing channel owners (digital marketing, PR, organic social, influencers/partnerships) to find opportunities to drive awareness for branded Retail and Signature shops. In partnership with Sales, develop and execute WHS B2B email calendar. Support Green Grass and Specialty sales team by standardizing marketing efforts at key events, including trunk shows.


  • Retail:
  • Develop GTM calendar with retail milestones to achieve seasonal objectives and ensure alignment with master brand GTM calendar. Act as primary marketing liaison with retail partners. Foster communication and collaboration in planning and executing all retail marketing initiatives. Manage and execute any paid media opportunities outside of digital. Included by not limited to: Influencers, OOH, etc. Create evergreen approaches for integrated retail marketing campaigns that support new store openings and anniversary events. Attend store openings, trade shows, and important local market events as needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in brand and/or retail marketing, with a BA/BS degree.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning skills and the ability to ensure retail marketing objectives and strategies are answered through creative development and program execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and timely execution of all projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, proactive communicator.
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple groups including creative, brand, e-commerce and merchandising.
  • Previous apparel experience a plus.
  • Previous golf experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in writing cohesive creative, advertising and media briefs.
  • Experience developing a full funnel media plan.
  • Previous budget management experience.
