Position Overview

The Director, Media Operations is accountable for supporting the transformation of how OMG's global accounts achieve data excellence through implementation technology and operational support model. This role will help build, optimize and evolve OMG's global Media Operations practice leveraging data, technology, process and people to enable modern comms strategy, media planning, activation, and analytics. This is an exciting opportunity for a digitally savvy team builder to take on a high-profile leadership position driving change within one of the world's largest media groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure successful value realization of the suite of Media Operations solutions and operational support model across OMG's global accounts, including delivery oversight, scope management, resource management, issue resolution
  • Identify business needs and drive design and implementation of process, tools, and technology to meet those needs
  • Orchestrate resources to drive successful implementation of process and use of resources
  • Manage internal and client stakeholders
  • Implementation and optimization of governance process, adapted to client's structure, decision-making, and processes
  • Align global, regional and market teams toward a common way of working through training and adoption of enterprise processes with the goal of facilitating timely and accurate data entry to meet committed client deliverables
  • Partner with regional and market Media Ops teams to ensure both global standards and individual client needs are fully understood and delivered upon through the use of process, tools and technology
  • Serve as primary point of contact for feeding business requirements into global product roadmaps

Expected Outcomes
  • Media plan data of OMG's global accounts are captured in a timely and accurate manner
  • OMG's global accounts have all consistently implemented the defined process
  • OMG's global accounts are benefit from tools that facilitate execution of the process (e.g., QA worksheet with automated updates)
  • Critical data quality KPIs are captured across OMG global accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of agency media operations processes and tools utilized at OMG
  • Deep digital marketing background possessing a strong understanding of ad tech and reporting
  • A knack for creating structure where none exists, balanced with real-world pragmatism
  • Ability to balance process and structure with flexibility and speed
  • Comfortable working closely with senior clients and senior agency leadership
  • Comfortable participating in pitches
  • Problem solver, not afraid to get their hands dirty, conveys expertise
  • Adept at thinking in terms of systems but also details
  • Natural ability to build teams and community
  • Comfortable developing technical and project documentation as well as team presentations
  • Comfortable with navigating large agency networks and client organizations
  • Ability to nurture community across disparate teams
  • +7 years experience intersecting with digital media operations and global account management

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.

Compensation Range

$122,000-$175,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
