Responsibilities include:

  • Learn and grow in the ever-changing world of public relations, influencer relations, affiliate marketing and strategic partnerships
  • Research and provide insights on the industries in which we work, especially food, beverage and travel, to the senior team and clients
  • Assist in the development and execution of PR campaigns, including media relations, content creation, tastemaker/influencer relations, and strategic partnerships
  • Pitch and develop relationships with media to secure client coverage
  • Develop written materials, including pitches, press releases, presentations, and client correspondence
  • Support and project manage events
  • Lead tracking sample and media requests, results, and reporting
  • Provide administrative support to the account management team, and lead all client results communication and reporting
  • Support social media engagement for agency, as needed and stay up to date on digital influencers
  • As needed, manage general office administrative tasks and assistant tasks for the founder



Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in PR and marketing including internships; knowledge and experience in the food + wine, hospitality and lifestyle industries a plus
  • College degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Open-minded and a ‘get the job done’ attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and a desire to collaborate
  • Knowledge of google drive, microsoft office/PDF required; understanding of digital media measurement tools (i.e. Muckrack) Canva, and project management tools a plus
  • Ability to work independently, partially remotely, and in a dynamic collaborative team
  • Desire to work in a start-up environment, pursue personal interests and learnings that are in line with company goals and make your mark on a growing agency (and of course, have fun in the process!)


Location:

  • Preferably located in the SF Bay Area with the ability to commute to wine country 1-2 days a week (or as needed for client events)
