Job Description: As a Senior User Experience Architect you will be working to build the strategy and foundations for the future of digital aerospace products. You will be responsible for working closely with Design, Research, Product Management, and Software Engineering to discover business opportunities, identify customer profiles, and set the framework of experience architecture across multiple products within the portfolio. In the senior role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing the vision of the product strategy, as well as setting up Designers with the foundational elements needed for technical product design.
You’ll be expected to utilize a wide variety of techniques in order to help identify and solve for complex business opportunities, including:
• Facilitating Workshops
• Customer Interviews
• Site visits
• Service Design Blueprints
• Journey Maps
• Feature/Function Documentation.
Additionally, you will be a leader in driving the practice of architecture across the team – actively involved in the coaching, feedback, and development of other designers – as well as setting the experiential standards across all products.
The Senior User Experience Architect role is a part of the larger Experience Design family. Other roles within the family that you’ll be working with on a daily basis are:
• Research
• User Experience Design
• Data Visualization
• Prototype Engineering

Locally, they are completely renovating their work space and moving two floors up in their building by October 2019. The new floor will be brand new and more “Google-like.” They have a gym and cafeteria onsite now.
Why is position open?: We only have 2 designers on team now, and with the amount of work, they need 2 architects to help with the strategy of the designs.
