Job Overview
- The UX Research, Design & Usability Leader will drive the design and user experience strategy for the Digital Products in the Fintech vertical, with a primary focus on creating Consumer Experience Platforms for Lending Products (mortgages, consumer loans, auto loans, commercial loans).
- They will work with Design Agencies, Product Designers, User Researchers, and Usability Testers, and provide them with guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
- They will work closely with the Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to define the vision, scope, and roadmap of the Digital Products, and ensure that they meet the needs and expectations of the customers and the business.
- They will champion a user-centric design approach that integrates generative AI/GPT models into the design process to enhance user interactions and deliver personalized experiences, utilize conversation AI engines to enhance communication channels within the Consumer Experience Platforms for effective and natural interactions, and explore integrations with voice assistances such as Alexa, Google, and Siri to create seamless and voice-driven user experiences.
Main Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in product design, usability, and user experience, with at least 10 years of experience in leading design teams and projects.
- A portfolio of digital products and experiences that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and user-centricity, preferably in the Fintech domain.
- A strong knowledge of design principles, methodologies, and tools, such as user research, user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
- A familiarity with generative AI/GPT models, LLMs, voice assistants (Alexa, Google, Siri), and conversation AI engines, and how they can be leveraged to enhance the user experience and engagement.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and user-centric design solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the design and user experience strategy for the Digital Products in the Fintech vertical, aligning it with the business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with the Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to understand the product requirements, scope, and roadmap, and provide design input and feedback.
- Create and deliver user-centric and innovative design solutions, such as user personas, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups, using various design tools and techniques.
- Conduct and oversee user research and usability testing and analyze and synthesize the data and insights to inform and validate the design decisions and outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Product Designers, User Researchers, and Usability Testers, and foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
