Title: User Experience Researcher
Location: New York, NY
Type: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our dynamic team, responsible for elevating user insights and championing user-centric design practices.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with product, design, and development teams to advocate for user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Identify the research needs of stakeholders and recommend appropriate methodologies to address them effectively.
- Independently lead end-to-end research projects, from project initiation to data collection (fielding/interviewing) and presentation of findings.
- Develop comprehensive UX Research artifacts including proposals, moderators guides, and results summaries.
- Skillfully synthesizes research findings into actionable insights.
- Proactively identify untapped research opportunities to enhance product value and execute them efficiently.
- Manage recruitment and maintain databases of targeted research participants sourced internally and externally.
- Act as a knowledge resource on user experience within the organization.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience conducting formal UX research.
- Master's Degree or higher in HCI, psychology, human factors, social science, or related fields.
- Proficient in qualitative and quantitative research techniques such as contextual inquiry, usability testing, competitive benchmarking, interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
- Deep passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Familiarity with UX Research tools like OptimalSort, UserZoom, UserTesting.com, or similar platforms.
- Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or equivalent.
- Strong willingness to challenge conventional practices to address user needs better.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward independently.
