Overview of the Payroll/AP Specialist Role:
As a
Payroll/AP Specialist , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our client's operations. Your key duties will include:
Ensure accurate and compliant full-cycle payroll processing, adhering to regulations and internal policies.
Manage vendor invoices from receipt through entry and processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle all aspects of accounts payable processing, including reconciliations and issue resolution.
Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and other closing activities.
Partner with various departments to support special accounting projects and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll/AP Specialist:
To succeed as a
Payroll/AP Specialist , you should have:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred).
1-3 years of payroll and accounts payable or related experience.
Familiarity with payroll software and strong Excel proficiency is a plus.
Honest, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of handling confidential information. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.
