Staff Accountant

Review, analyze and forecast general ledger account balances and perform reconciliations. Verify accuracy and correct as necessary.
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
Cross functionally partner with business processes for budgeting and forecasting.
Involved in the planning, monitoring and organizing of various activities in the accounting department which may include accounts payable, cash application, general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets and inventory accounting.
Implement procedures and solve accounting system problems, as well as procedural/process problems.
Prepare various financial statements and/or reports on GAAP standards.
Review internal controls for possible improvements.
Prepare and enter journal entries.
Staff Accountant Qualification and Profile
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
1+ years of accounting experience
Proficient in MS Excel
