Assist in the preparation, management, and monitoring of annual budgets, working with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Participate in the creation of multi-year financial projections for program sustainability.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership and the Board of Directors.
Collaborate with program and grant teams to support budget development and allocation of resources.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP) and government regulations, including 990 filings and audit preparations.
Examine financial statements for not-for-profit organizations
Provide financial analysis support to program directors and vice presidents in grantmaking divisions
Confirm and track tax status of grantees and prospective grantees
Act as project manager for special finance division initiatives
Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA or MBA Required
Proficient in financial statement analysis
Strong foundation in accounting and finance
Excellent skills in analysis, critical thinking, and both written and verbal communication
