Our client are a multi-award winning thriving D2C beauty brand who are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for a VP Marketing/CMO to drive their D2C digital growth and support their ambitious product launch schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth for a fast-growing D2C brand and managing a digital ad spend between $800K and $3M annually. This role is pivotal in scaling clients digital presence, building brand awareness, and driving customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Growth Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies to drive D2C revenue growth across multiple existing digital channels (e-commerce, social, search, display) while supporting new product launches.
- Product Launch Execution: Partner closely with product development and sales teams to lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring successful promotions and consumer adoption.
- Ad Spend Management: Oversee and manage an annual digital advertising budget of $800K to $3M, optimizing for ROI and customer acquisition cost (CAC) across platforms such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital outlets.
- Customer Journey Optimization: Continuously enhance the customer journey through personalized marketing, A/B testing, and improved conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques to increase retention and lifetime value (LTV).
- Brand Strategy & Positioning: Elevate clients positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and identity across all digital and physical touchpoints while increasing brand loyalty and market share.
- Data-Driven Insights & Analytics: Leverage advanced data analytics to measure campaign performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights that inform future marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- D2C Expertise: 8+ years of experience in marketing leadership, with a strong focus on D2C brands. At least 2 years leading marketing efforts for a fast-growing D2C brand.
- Digital Ad Spend Management: Demonstrated experience managing digital ad budgets of $800K to $3M annually, with a focus on optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
- Product Launch Experience: Proven track record of leading successful product launch campaigns, particularly in the beauty, skincare, or consumer tech space.
- Performance Marketing: Strong understanding of performance marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, email marketing, and programmatic display advertising.
- Analytics & Optimization: Skilled in leveraging data and analytics tools to measure and improve marketing performance, drive optimizations, and inform strategic decisions.
- Customer-Centric Focus: Deep understanding of customer acquisition, retention, and growth strategies within the D2C environment, with an emphasis on improving customer experience and driving repeat purchases.
