We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Marketing to lead and elevate our Nomo Smartcare brand, setting the vision and growth strategy for the organization. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on influential leader who can rally and drive brand visibility and user acquisition. A background in agency, startup and/or brand strategy with a proven track record in both traditional, digital, and mobile marketing channels is imperative. In this role, you will report to the President and drive all aspects of brand and marketing including the brand messaging, defining marketing strategies and omni-channel approach, including measurement and optimization to maximize the company value and results. This is a unique opportunity to shape our marketing efforts from its early stages and make a significant impact on our overall growth and success. Other responsibilities include:
- Builds and elevates the brand narrative, crafting messaging that increases brand recognition, customer loyalty ensuring strong consumer-centric messaging and relevant brand experience across digital and traditional channels.
- Establishes the overall vision and growth strategy for the marketing function elevating its capabilities across all channels including online, mobile, PR, Influencers, social, trade shows and sponsorships.
- Creates opportunities for company growth through a strong understanding of the marketplace and consumer needs; establishes customer-centric philosophies and initiatives to capitalize on emerging consumer and business trends.
- Collaborate with product development team around app and product enhancements, features and capabilities to increase competitive gain and sales.
- Collaborate with E-commerce team to help execute the brands’ digital and product experiences and digital retail experience. · Responsible for media strategies, buying, and messaging through paid and owned channels, digital demand generation and campaign optimization including collaboration with commercialization colleagues to define opportunities and drive results.
- Lead go-to-market product launches with omnichannel campaign strategies and programs from launch to optimization driving product growth.
- Collaborate with product and engineering team on overall design of mobile app, customer experience and market research to support enhancements and product development.
- Responsible for providing actionable insights through deep analysis of campaign performance. Generates regular reports on KPIs such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and sales growth. Recommends media performance optimizations, audience segmentation strategies, and multi-touch attribution models to maximize effectiveness.
- Be the voice of the customer, clearly articulating user needs and customer goals, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and enhance the overall user experience.
- Owns and manages the marketing budget, optimizing resource use and providing accurate forecasts for future sales performance.
- Responsible for staying current on digital marketing trends and identifying new growth opportunities and best practices across mobile apps and retail platforms like Meta, Amazon, and Walmart
- 10+ years’ experience in marketing, brand management, or related field. Start-up, agency and/or in-house experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent marketing experience will be considered.
- Proven track record of developing brand strategies with successful execution and delivery.
- Digitally expert with extensive experience developing, optimizing and tracking digital led marketing campaigns to deliver business objectives and increase sales.
- Previous experience working with mobile apps including design, marketing and growth strategy is a plus
- Develop and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, experimentation, and growth
- Ability to contribute to the strategic vision of the organization by aligning brand strategy with broader business goals and objectives
- Creative thinker with an exceptional track record of developing holistic marketing strategies and plans that have consistently met or exceeded planned results ·
- Strong business acumen, superior analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and initiatives to drive top/bottom line growth
- Comfort working in a cross-functional team environment, fostering collaboration and ensuring the integration of patient insights into various business functions
- Successful track record of winning over stakeholders and navigating diverse relationships.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
