Position Summary
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive and compelling marketing, branding and communications strategy to increase awareness and drive growth in all markets served. This individual will plan, organize, and manage all strategic marketing functions including product positioning, messaging, campaign development, demand generation and lead qualification. Provides strategic and operational direction for all company marketing initiatives. Works closely with the executive team, sales, product development and partners at all levels to create strategies that meet the company’s goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Develop all lead generation, branding, promotional and corporate identity campaigns
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, new product introductions and other marketing initiatives
  • Develop, monitor, and manage costs and marketing budgets
  • Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives
  • Develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media, and marketing collateral
  • Manage agency partners, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company’s website and email marketing programs and provide analytics review
  • Manage all aspects of exhibiting at trade shows and events
  • Ensure that timelines and performance objectives are met

Leadership

  • Supervise a marketing team, including hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines
  • Help drive the vision and strategy for the company and play a major role in accelerating growth

Key Deliverables

  • Promote and communicate new product launch
  • Develop comprehensive lead generation management system
  • Help build a positive, open culture that encourages and rewards cooperation and collaboration

Essential Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in a marketing related function
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and working with creative agencies
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • Trade show and event management
