Fleet Service Writer Coordinator
The Colorado Springs Utilities Fleet Operations department is seeking two Fleet Service Writer Coordinators.We will be hiring a Coordinator for each of the two below mentioned shifts.

The Colorado Springs Utilities Fleet Operations department is seeking two Fleet Service Writer Coordinators.We will be hiring a Coordinator for each of the two below mentioned shifts.
Our Fleet department operates Monday-Friday and offers two shifts:
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, this shift is eligible for shift differential pay.
A day in the life of a Fleet Coordinator may include:
- Administers, schedules, and coordinates preventative maintenance and repairs of all organization fleet vehicles
- Receives vehicles and equipment; evaluates and prioritizes maintenance and repair needs
- Develops design specifications for vehicle requisitions; verifies specifications upon receipt
- Monitors regulations and requirements for vehicles and equipment
- Ensures compliance with rules and regulations, and files paperwork in support of compliance as needed
- Maintains accurate records of vehicles and tickets including cost, work performed, vehicle condition, and other pertinent information
- Prepares reports on inspection findings and ensures proper vehicle maintenance to comply with prescribed safety regulations
- Ensures proper documentation is completed for warranty coverage.
- Input new vehicle information into Assetworks (M5) with the appropriate MCC Code; Category Types, pictures, and tech spec per procedure
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs
- Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment
- Preparing daily work such as schedules
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records, and other information
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license AND possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) IS REQUIRED for this position
- Relevant experience in a fleet or automotive mechanic environment
- Knowledge of and experience with preventative maintenance methodologies and tools
- Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) preferred Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
