NBCUniversal Local is NBCUniversal’s local media division that delivers English and Spanish-speakers and bilingual audiences in 31 U.S. markets and Puerto Rico, the very best in local sports, news, weather, consumer and investigative reporting, and lifestyle entertainment across any platform and screen. As a Sales & Marketing Planner at NBC Universal, you will play a key role in the execution and coordination of integrated marketing campaigns for NBC10 Boston, NBC Sports Boston, Telemundo Boston, and necn. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and creative teams to support the development and implementation of campaigns that drive client success and enhance brand visibility across multiple platforms. This role requires a strong blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and organizational skills to ensure that campaigns are executed smoothly and deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Assist with developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across NBC10 Boston, NBC Sports Boston, Telemundo Boston, and necn.
Collaborate with sales teams to create marketing/media proposals and pitch materials for clients.
Coordinate with internal creative teams to produce integrated content, including ad copy, interview segments, digital assets, and on-air spots, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Develop and manage marketing decks for both single and multi-market deals for NBCU brands.
Maintain and organize sales materials, campaign trackers, sports and tentpoles calendars, and client timelines to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Incorporate multi-platform media strategies (linear, digital, OTT, social, OOH, etc.) into all marketing campaigns.
Liaise with research teams and external resources to gather competitive insights and track industry trends.
Monitor campaign performance, track delivery, and provide recaps to clients, ensuring goals are met.
Work with Digital and OTT teams to ensure proper execution of digital components, including integrations, video, banners, sweepstakes, social media, and more.
Support event and promotional initiatives, assisting with planning and execution as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, impactful marketing strategies across multiple NBCU platforms.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 2 years’ experience in promotion, advertising, marketing, or another related creative field
Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong writing/editing skills

Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
Proficiency in marketing tools, consumer research systems, Nielsen data, and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of broadcast, digital, and social media platforms
Creative thinker with a passion for delivering high-impact marketing solutions
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Final Cut Pro
