Summary:
The Presentation and Data Visualization Lead will play a pivotal role in the future of Children's Health. They will work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, designing complex and impactful presentations that translate business language, processes and complex ideas into compelling visualizations and visual stories, balancing creativity, design thinking, and innovation with business acumen. Responsibilities:
- Designs, refines and assists with the overall story of quarterly presentations to the board of directors
- Builds out other executive leadership team-level presentations
- Collaborates with leadership and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
- Develops creative concepts and designs layouts for PowerPoint presentations that align with brand guidelines and messaging
- Creates custom graphics, icons, line/bar graphs and illustrations to enhance visual appeal and engagement of presentations
- Utilizes advanced PowerPoint features and techniques like animation, Macros, add-ins, action buttons, etc. to create dynamic animations, transitions and interactive elements
- Understands how to design across Microsoft software
- Builds excellent working relationships with executive leadership team members and other stakeholder
- Meets timelines while staying focused under pressure to manage urgent tasks against tight timelines
- Maintains organization and has meticulous attention to detail
- Adheres to consistent brand look and strategic high-level thought processes
- Refines images, fonts, illustrations and layouts using graphic design software
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in presentation design and implements innovative ideas to elevate work
- Remains open towards change and engagement for continuous improvement
How You'll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years Creating presentations at a top consulting firm experience as a designer Required
- At least 5 years Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple KeyNote and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Required
- At least 5 years High-quality graphic design experience for presentations Required
- At least 5 years Strong professional portfolio, with demonstrated mastery of design fundamentals and complex presentation design. Examples of previous consulting case work preferred (sanitized is fine) Required
- At least 5 years Knowledge of animation and interactive features in PowerPoint Required
- At least 5 years Proficiency with data visualization techniques and tools Required
- At least 5 years Proficiency in other design tools such as Adobe After Effects or Sketch Preferred
- At least 5 years of agency and/or in-house creative experience as a designer focused on developing successful presentations and campaigns with measurable results Required
- At least 5 years Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple KeyNote and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Required
- At least 5 years High-quality graphic design experience for presentations as well as traditional and emerging communication channels Required
- At least 5 years Knowledge of printing processes from paper stock through four-color process Required
- At least 5 years Online portfolio of award-wining work that shows a range of PowerPoint/KeyNote presentations as well as conceptual and tactical experience Required
- At least 5 years Knowledge of animation and interactive features in PowerPoint Preferred
- At least 5 years Familiarity with data visualization techniques Preferred
- At least 5 years Proficiency in other design tools such as Adobe After Effects or Sketch Preferred
