About the team:
Creative Lab is TikTok's in-house creative consultancy for brands and creative companies. We work collaboratively with key accounts, creative agencies, and in-house creative teams to inspire creativity and advance TikTok-first thinking.

Responsibilities:
- Lead creative strategy with key business verticals. In this role, you will work across business verticals, with an emphasis on Tech, Travel and Telco brands, to help inspire and develop their best-in-class creative for TikTok. You will partner with sales and other cross functional teams to educate and inspire our clients and their agency partners. Your role will include real-time consultation on creative strategies, collaborative workshops, creative insights and best practices presentations, creator guidance and more.
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with sales partners, clients and creative partners. You will prioritize internal business objectives and work with your team to develop innovative solutions that open new creative opportunities for your clients. You will foster productive relationships with external senior-level clients, agency partners and internal cross-functional leads.
- Champion our branded solutions. You will advocate for the platform's ad products, capabilities, and features and demonstrate their benefits in creative recommendations and best practice solutions for clients.
- Drive industry thought leadership. You will uncover insights and develop vertical-specific POVs for how brands show up on TikTok to drive stronger partnerships. You will also work to develop and champion case study worthy work to inspire the advertising industry at large.
- Manage your own projects in a fast-growing startup. You multi-task and prioritize your own projects, manage your own deadlines, and maintain a solutions oriented and collaborative approach to work with XFN partners.
- Optimize creative operations. You will develop processes and resources to support the team in fulfilling objectives and executing deliverables at a high level. You will also develop proactive creative resources and navigate ambiguity with solution-oriented approaches.
- Show up as a team and organizational leader. You will report to the Creative Strategy Director, Tech, Travel, Telco and work collaboratively with Creative Lab and Global Business Solutions leadership to deliver on our mission and goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work out of our office in New York, NY
- 5+ years in a creative or creative strategy role.
- Experience within a top tier creative agency, brand creative group or a creative role.
- A portfolio that showcases previous creative/strategic work.
- Passion for TikTok, the power of the platform, its communities, and the creative possibilities it can unlock.
- Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to solve for complex business problems through compelling creative strategies, breakthrough creative ideas and engaging presentations.
- Ability to travel to various North American regions, approx. 2x/month.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating content on or for TikTok.
- Experience on a wide range of categories in the advertising and marketing space.
- Tech and travel experience preferred
- Experience engaging audiences through innovative creative experiences, ranging from product launches to experiential campaigns to tap into and spark cultural conversation.
- Deep interest and understanding of the social/digital space, as well as the creator economy.
