Join Apple’s Digital Content Management Solutions team, where you will drive strategic transformational changes to the infrastructure that powers the Apple Online Store. As a technical Solutions Manager, you will ensure seamless integration, high performance, and operational scalability in shaping the future of digital shopping. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who operates with a sense of urgency, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and excels at managing complexity while balancing competing priorities. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and advocate for ground breaking, data-driven solutions will be crucial in our mission to redefine e-commerce excellence. Description In this role you will: Apply your expertise in process and systems design to help architect a robust and scalable e-commerce platform, often times championing innovative technologies that challenge conventional approaches. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to define, develop, and implement systemic capabilities needed for the efficient production and distribution of digital content. Responsibilities: Model and simulate the digital content supply chain to identify system bottlenecks, using root cause analysis and systems thinking to propose and implement technological solutions that enhance operational effectiveness. Define system functional requirements and conduct rapid experimentation to prototype, pressure test, and validate technological solutions, exercising independent judgment in selecting the appropriate methods and evaluation criteria to achieve results. Extract actionable insights from complex data sets, driving informed design decisions and optimizing workflows through data-driven methodologies. Communicate technical strategies and system architectures effectively to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS in Computer Science/Technical degree + 3 years of years of technical product/program management OR 6+ years of technical product/program management. Exceptional communication & presentation skills; experience briefing executives, expertly articulating technically complex concepts clearly and concisely. Master data storyteller with experience leveraging advanced analytics including Python, pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications MS (in relevant fields like Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, etc.) or MBA is desired. Expert in business process modeling and documentation tools, including SIPOC, BPMN, and Value Stream Mapping. Experience applying problem solving frameworks (DMAIC, kaizen, etc.) and process improvement methodologies (six sigma, lean, TQM, etc.) to drive operational excellence. Strong understanding of technical applications used for the production, management, and distribution of digital content such as Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM) systems, and Syndication Management Systems (SMS). Experience harnessing new technologies, such as generative AI, to automate and optimize digital content production and distribution workflows. Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, RAD) to facilitate productive engagement and dialogue with technical business partners. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $234,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
