The Alaska Veterinary Clinic, in Anchorage Alaska, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian.

The Alaska Veterinary Clinic is the longest established veterinary practice in the state of Alaska, established in 1958 - before Alaska was even a state! We are thankful for our 5 full time veterinarians and 5 full time Licensed Technicians. The majority of our lay staff has been with us for over 5 years. We strive to provide progressive and compassionate quality care along with exceptional client service and value. Our team's goal is to continually improve our knowledge, sharpen our skills, and expand our ability to provide the best care in Anchorage while enjoying a fantastic work-life balance.
SALARY PLUS Compensation Model:
Guaranteed Annual SALARY paid month to month (range $130,000 - $140,000 depending on experience)
PLUS Monthly Production Bonus (we are paying your guaranteed salary UP FRONT and then you have the ability to produce up to and beyond this salary minimum. The additional revenue produced will qualify you for a production bonus based on a percentage rate of 21%-23%.)

- Our practice focus is to provide the best preventative care by conducting thorough examinations, offering up to date diagnostics and treatment plans with special emphasis for treatment of Periodontal Disease.
- We Moved to a brand new, fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility in 2023
- Our dental treatment stations feature high speed dental burr, scaler, polisher, digital patient monitoring, and digital dental x-ray.
- As part of our standard of care, we provide anesthetic lab work for all anesthetic procedures, full mouth dental x-rays for all dental treatments, and utilize both Phoenix and Idexx laboratories for referral diagnostics along with several other referral lab options.

- Relocation Bonus Package ($5,000 - $10,000)

Schedule
- 3-4 days a week (10-hour shifts) - counts as full time
