About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.
With millions of loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting e-commerce experience to our users. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join our US product marketing team, to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users.
The product marketing team drives results across the entire customer journey, generating awareness, shaping positive perception, driving adoption, and fostering affinity with TikTok Shop's core audiences (Sellers, Creators, Partners, and Shoppers).
Responsibilities
- Leading and developing a team of product marketers who are dedicated to promoting TikTok Shop products for our audience.
- Demonstrating excellence in taking new products to market through go-to-market (GTM) strategies, driving product awareness, understanding, and adoption in our U.S. marketplace.
- Developing and refining messaging, positioning, and naming conventions tailored for TikTok Shop products.
- Fostering strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless product launches, sales enablement, and product adoption.
- Driving product adoption and engagement through targeted marketing initiatives.
- Developing industry-leading sales enablement programs, including collateral, customer evidence, and training.
- Building strong thought leadership narratives to tell the story about how TikTok is shaping the future of eCommerce -- this includes digging deep into data to yield insights, and working cross-functionally to work these insights into multiple work streams (sales enablement, PR, AR).
Qualifications
- Expertise in business-to-business (B2B) marketing at technology companies.
- Exceptional ability to craft messaging and positioning (you are a very strong writer who can also coach others' writing skills).
- Proven track record in launching products and driving product adoption.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years in product marketing leadership, with significant experience leading teams.
