ACTS Finance team is looking for an Principal Finance Manager to lead the finance support for Advertising Trust Operations (ATO). This team provides critical support to ensure that our customers have less likelihood of experiencing a defective Ad. ATO provides creative and policy moderation supports for both Sponsored Ads and DVA-SS focuses, playing a critical role in delivering Advertising self service revenue. This role will lead the end to end financial support for ATO, partnering closely with Director of operations. Principal finance manager will partner with business teams including both technology and operations in creating and reviewing business opportunities, setting up metrics, creating financial models and driving automation and productivity improvement. The successful candidate will be thoughtful, analytical, and has demonstrated ability to effectively influence the decisions of senior business leaders through clear verbal and written communication, financial analysis, and logical reasoning. The role operates in a fast-paced, global, autonomous and results-oriented environment, and will be an important member of the business leadership team. This role requires excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to anticipate, identify and communicate risks to senior leadership (including directors and VPs) across geographies and time zones. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities Develop financial insights and narratives during all planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles. Manage and develop the financial planning and analysis processes, including long range planning, and OP1/OP2 planning processes. Partner with finance teams across Advertising to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting. Partner with the business team to drive alignment between financial forecast and business plan of record. Support ad-hoc requests and assist in various requests from finance and business executives. Identify and create business metrics to understand the operational and financial health of the business and drive improvement Influence others, insist on the highest standards, have bias for action and challenge the status quo Identify operating improvements, deep dive on cost structures, and analyze business opportunities/investments. Assess impact of new business ideas and initiatives Partner with Product, Tech and Science to drive the prioritization of the roadmaps to drive efficiency. Basic Qualifications 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages Preferred Qualifications MBA, or CPA Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
