DRB Systems ("DRB") is the leading provider of technology-enabled devices and software solutions to the North American car wash industry. The Marketing Intern is responsible for running multiple projects supporting DRB product line.

JOB PURPOSE:

Would you enjoy hands-on experience with planning, organization and execution of tradeshow events - applying your education with real-life projects? The intern will play a vital role in managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, preparing marketing materials, and ensuring smooth operations during events. This position is designed to offer valuable learning opportunities in event management, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration, while directly impacting the company's ability to showcase products, engage with industry professionals, and generate leads at key industry events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in planning and coordinating all logistical aspects of tradeshow participation, including booth setup, shipping, and vendor management.

• Support the creation and preparation of marketing materials, product displays, and promotional items for tradeshows.

• Help manage timelines and ensure that key deliverables are met leading up to each event.

• Coordinate with external vendors for services such as booth construction, transportation, and on-site support.

• Participate in pre-show planning meetings and post-show debriefs.

• Assist with on-site event management, including booth setup and breakdown, staff coordination, and attendee engagement (if applicable).

• Track and report on event performance metrics, gathering feedback to improve future events.

• Maintain an organized inventory of tradeshow materials and marketing collateral.

• Provide administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and maintaining communication with internal teams.

• Maintain internal communication website

• Additional marketing projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • A rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to problem-solve on the fly.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in event management and marketing is a plus.
  • Experience with event or tradeshow coordination (even through school projects or volunteering) is a plus but not required.
