About the role

We're seeking a motivated student passionate about cinema beyond the multiplex to intern with our US distribution team, gaining hands-on experience working on our theatrical release campaigns.

You will focus on
  • Assist on theatrical release campaigns as needed (admin, copywriting, etc.)
  • Develop ideas and strategies for theatrical marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with external partners to promote films and deliver materials
  • Research and report on competitive trends in the marketplace
  • Support at key events and screenings
  • Assist with invoicing and deliveries
  • Cover other day-to-day tasks as they arise
You will bring
  • Current student enrolled at a NY-based college or university
  • Organized and resourceful learner with strong writing ability
  • Familiar with and committed to independent and international film
  • Well-versed in social media and up-to-date on marketing trends
  • Interested in understanding the film industry landscape
Details:
  • Dates: January - May 2025
  • Time commitment: 2 - 3 days per week, 9am - 5pm
  • Location: New York (partial in-person)
  • Compensation: monthly stipend ($600)
