JG Wentworth seeks a visionary and results-driven leader to serve as Vice President of Offline Media with a focus on TV and Direct Mail. This leadership role reports directly to the head of marketing playing an essential part in driving the growth and success of the company across the JGW product suite.
Responsibilities
- Lead JG Wentworth's Offline media strategy including TV (linear and streaming) and Direct Mail to drive growth against key business growth objectives across our suite of products.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive direct mail strategy aligned with JGW's growth goals and market trends
- Plan and deploy the offline marketing budget, ensuring our mix of spending across channels is aligned with our overall revenue growth strategy.
- Drive understanding of how our media investment drives our revenue growth and broader impacts through alignment and leadership within our attribution and interaction with digital channel acquisitions.
- Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and resonates with our target audience.
- Define and articulate the company's brand identity, including its values, mission, and personality, ensuring consistency across all top of funnel marketing touchpoints.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for brand differentiation.
- Collaborate with creative stakeholders in the development of creative campaigns and marketing initiatives that effectively communicate the company's value proposition and drive brand awareness.
- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing campaign development efforts as needed.
- Create strong relationships with third party agencies and platforms ensuring we maximize insights and knowledge to help us create best in class campaigns
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on offline media (TV, direct mail, radio) Preferably with strong experience in a direct to consumer, performance based environment
- Proven track record in leadership roles, ideally in a media agency or corporate environment.
- Experience managing large-scale media budgets and driving effective offline media
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform media decisions.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a deep understanding of offline media purchasing processes.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends related to offline media.
- Proficiency in media planning tools and software
- Strong Experience in developing and implementing strategic media plans that align with overall business objectives
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to optimize media spend.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in offline media.
- Established network within the media industry, including contacts with vendors and media outlets.
