In this role, you will work closely with the project management team on distinctive commercial projects. - Industrial and commercial builds make up the bulk of their portfolio (both renovations and ground-up)
- Self-perform concrete and carpentry (sub out other trades)

Description
- Evaluate project plans and documents to determine accurate cost estimates.
- Develop detailed and competitive bids for construction projects.
- Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify risks and include contingencies in estimates.
- Monitor project budgets and adjust forecasts as needed.
- Maintain records of cost-related data and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
Profile
- 4+ years of construction experience
- Conceptual estimating experience
- Design/Build experience
- Degree in a construction related field, or relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
