Marketing Coordinator, The Shops at Columbus Circle

Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the drive of traffic and sales to The Shops at Columbus Circle. This individual will partner closely with the Marketing Manager in creating and executing marketing initiatives, tactics, programming, activations, tenant relations, onsite signage and promotions, as well as website content. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conceptualize, negotiate, plan, and execute activations, programs and events to drive visitation and conversion to the shopping center
  • Vet inbound event sales leads via client communication and proposals. Manage contracts, invoices, billing, creative approvals, insurance, marketing, PR, on-site build outs, event execution, and post-event summaries including photos, stats, etc.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and especially with retail and restaurant tenants ensuring regular and consistent communication and check-ins
  • Promote events in all applicable outlets including onsite and guest services as well as manage communication to internal teams, production schedules and associated event budgets
  • Monitor budgets by working closely with accounts payable and accounts receivable, accounting teams
  • Track inventory of assets, manage on-site signage; print vendors, quality assurance, scheduling installations/removals and digital signage uploads/expirations, inventory reporting
  • Oversee and edit monthly content calendars encompassing website, newsletters, blogs, office app, social media
  • Review and update all website content including hero rotators, event listings, store listings, blogs, etc. implementing SEO and analytic learnings in tandem with website development team
  • Communicate with digital agencies to update and maintain website and social media content with current promotions, events, sponsorship offers, shop and restaurant information, etc.
  • Work with tour operators as well as customer experience team on concierge and tourism outreach/platform management
  • Oversee contract matrix for marketing, ensuring all vendor contracts are current and filed
  • Coordinate sending out visitors guides, maintain statistics on lead generation, send leads as directed to accommodations partners
  • Assist with identifying strategic tourism partnerships with emphasis on identifying areas and opportunities of traffic and sales growth
  • Provide strategic direction on relevant retailer partnerships in marketing programs as an effort to promote their business and add value to overall marketing efforts
  • Provide regular status reports and briefings to functional leadership team
  • Update calendar and email distribution lists to internal team, executives and external partners
  • Canvass and understand industry and market competition for local, domestic and international
  • Maintain a good 'finger on the pulse' of branded events and programs throughout NYC
  • Liaise with security, housekeeping, engineering ensuring proper permitting when necessary
  • Support Operations team with property upkeep and improvement projects as needed
Compensation
  • $31.25 - $36.06 / hour
  • Annual performance based bonus
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of experience in Marketing or related field
  • Experienced team player, showing leadership and ownership of projects and responsibilities
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a solutions-oriented and growth mindset
  • Self-starter who is proactive, resourceful, and adaptable
  • Exercises strong attention to detail and careful listening
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency and literacy of multi-channel marketing tactics and platforms (i.e. social media, OOH, digital advertising, onsite advertising, owned channels, etc.)
  • Work evening & weekend events including load ins/outs
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
