Role Overview
The Senior UX Designer will be at the forefront of enhancing Athena's customer experience for the XP Suite. This role combines expertise in user research with exceptional design skills to create intuitive, user-centric solutions that meet the needs of our diverse user base. The Senior UX Designer will lead efforts to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through various research methodologies and translate insights into design that drives product excellence.

Role Overview
The Senior UX Designer will be at the forefront of enhancing Athena's customer experience for the XP Suite. The Senior UX Designer will lead efforts to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations through various research methodologies and translate insights into design that drives product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead User Research: Conduct comprehensive user research utilizing various methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to gather deep insights into user needs and behaviors.
- Translate Research into Design: Utilize research findings to inform and shape impactful design decisions that improve user experience and align with business goals.
- Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate user research into the product development process.
- Prototype and Validate Solutions: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to propose solutions, validate concepts, and iterate based on user feedback.
- Advocate for UX Best Practices: Champion user-centered design principles and best practices across the organization, ensuring that they are at the core of all product development initiatives.
- Customer Development: 7+ years of experience in UX design and research, with a strong- Research Expertiseven track record of leading user research and translating insights into successful design outcomes.
- Design Proficiency: Advanced skills in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and prototyping software (e.g.,Vision, Marvel).
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in UX design and research, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
- Design Tools Proficiency: Expertise in design software such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or similar.
- Research Skills: Proven ability to conduct various user research methodologies and synthesize findings into actionable design insights.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to think strategically about how user research and design can solve business problems and enhance the customer experience.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to clearly articulate design decisions and research findings to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration: Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, with an ability to influence and drive consensus among stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
