Telecommunications Analyst 3 Location:
Remote – Must be located in State of Wisconsin Duration:
2-year contract with possibility for extension Pay : $30/hr
Summary: Brooksource is looking for a Telecommunications Analyst to join our local government client. This individual will be assisting with supporting and installing telephones, cellphones, and other video conferencing solutions.
Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance for telecom technologies, focusing on infrastructure management, deployment, and maintenance. Utilize knowledge and experience with networking, mobile, desk phones, and desktop technologies, including desktop applications, smartphones (iOS), VoIP, and PBX systems.
Qualifications: Working knowledge of telecommunication concepts such as SIP, H323, and other VoIP technologies. Working knowledge of networking concepts. Experience with Cisco phones and infrastructure. 2 – 5 years of experience in video conferencing infrastructure and endpoints management, unified communications systems (Webex, PBX, ACD, etc.), and mobile device support and management. Familiarity with networking concepts (CUBE, SBC, SIP, H323, VoIP, etc.).
Preferred Vendor Experience: Cisco Mitel Zoom AirWatch Apple Business Management Microsoft
Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Punctuality. Ability to multi-task and balance workday. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and determine solutions.
Travel: In-state, day travel in State-owned vehicles is expected. Occasional long hours are possible but limited. This is a 100% remote position with office visits as needed weekly. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to State guidelines. No overnight travel expected
