College grad with a Human Factors, Interactive Design, Visual Design or an equivalent degree/experience focused on user centered design principles.

Job Duties

Work across departments and coordinate with the product team to deliver consistent and exceptional user experiences. Use data analytics, user feedback, and user testing to make informed design decisions. Build the necessary artifacts to help deliver features, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Verify finished features through acceptance testing. Contribute to our design system, ensuring components remain usable and accessible. Contribute to our design process, seeking out and identifying areas we can continually improve. Perform accessibility testing of existing features and provide recommendations on how to fix them.

Engages with customers to understand their true needs. Identifies and fixes accessibility issues. Gets passionate about the UX/UI industry and shares that enthusiasm with others. Brings a curiosity and excitement for identifying customers' problems and designing solutions to alleviate them. Attends to details while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the overall objective. Collaborates with cross-organizational teams. Communicates clearly, both orally and in writing, to effectively engage with Agile software development teams, including developers, QA, and project managers. Loves to learn. Organizes multiple projects and prioritizes to meet deadlines when needed. Maintains a positive attitude, even in stressful situations.

Experience In Any Of The Following Technologies/Principles A Plus

Design tools: Figma, Adobe Suite, etc. Analytics tools: Elastic, Google Analytics, Pendo. External design systems experience: Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Frontend web experience: HTML, CSS, React w/ TypeScript. SaaS application design experience.
