What's the opportunity?

As VP of Marketing Operations, you will be a key member of the marketing team, directly contributing to the growth of our business by enabling operational rigor in the day-to-day of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** marketing team. You will be helping to build our self-service capabilities in order to ensure organizational scaling. This role will impact the foundation and build trust in the core metrics we use in our daily lives. You will ensure that no lead is left behind, every marketing touch point is attributable, our technology systems work together seamlessly, our money is spent wisely, and that we operate in a coordinated way in the market.

What will I be doing?

  1. Serve as an advisor and trusted partner to the CMO to ensure that the marketing team is operating efficiently and executing with agility in support of aligned goals and strategies.
  2. Lead and orchestrate the development, alignment, and optimization of cross-functional processes, infrastructure, and operating model.
  3. Build a modern marketing technology program, including platforms, data integrations, analytics, and operations engine.
  4. Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to optimize the marketing team's performance. Connect the martech stack across functions and platforms to allow cross-functional orchestration, utilization, and analytics.
  5. Audit, evaluate, recommend, align, and operationalize measurements, metrics, processes, reporting, and dashboards necessary to help ensure that various marketing initiatives and campaigns are meeting goals.
  6. Work with sales operations and sales leaders to ensure an effective lead development and hand-off process with SLAs that maximizes marketing ROI. Create global dashboards to report on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  7. Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  8. Drive marketing planning and strategy alignment within the team and across functions, establishing connected KPIs across sales, marketing, and product.
  9. Partner with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Procurement partners to ensure marketing's budget is tracked and accurately forecasted. Work with marketing to ensure the budget is deployed effectively.
  10. Work cross-functionally, collaborating with key stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities that marketing can impact.

What skills do I need?

  1. 15 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, B2B and software/SaaS experience preferred.
  2. Experience in the use of martech implementations, business analytics, key performance indicators, and dashboards.
  3. Proven track record of implementing cross-functional processes and operating models at scale.
  4. Experience with ad tech and martech implementations and management.
  5. Strong business acumen and the ability to execute marketing strategies designed to establish market presence, accelerate demand, and increase revenue and profitability.
  6. Experience orchestrating and aligning highly cross-functional teams.
  7. Passion about driving inefficiencies out of the business while maximizing results and impact.
  8. Strong balance of strategic and pragmatic marketing skills and significant experience in integrated, multichannel disciplines for both domestic and international channels.
  9. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
