Course: Audio Reinforcement

This course develops students' skills in live sound reinforcement for the church, including assembling sound systems, setting stages for music production, and managing assets vital to the discipline of sound reinforcement. Emphasis is given to sound system design and industry best practices in a live worship production environment and the demonstration of skill in operating a live sound system.

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Master's or above in Design/Technical Theater/Sound Engineering OR
  • B.A./B.S. in Technical Theater or related field with 5 years professional experience
