• Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2025 semester (01/06/2025 - 04/27/2025)

Course: Digital Audio Workstation

This course introduces DAW software and challenges students to begin the process of recording multi-track sessions. Students practice tracking, editing, mixing, and producing recordings according to assigned projects. Students practice creating and implementing backing tracks for a worship service.

What You Will Do:

• Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies
• Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends
• Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

• Master's degree in a field related to Sound Engineering from an accredited college or university and at least two years of professional experience including worship ministry OR
  
  • Baccalaureate degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in worship related audio recording.
