Job Description
Fabletics is looking for an Associate Designer.
How do will fit in:
As the Associate Designer, you will provide creative and practical support to the Design Director and Women's Design team, including trend/concept research, creating/updating line sheets/CADS, and inputting information into PLM. You will join an extremely fast-paced team of passionate and energetic creative individuals working towards our vision to be the world's most fashionable, innovative, and inclusive active-lifestyle brand. You will be a highly energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that understands our brand's aesthetic and the Fabletics customer.
You will report to the Design Director and partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Production and Technical Design teams

The annual base salary range for this position is from $68,640-$76,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.

You will report to the Design Director and partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Production and Technical Design teams
What you will do:
- Assist in inspiration research across competitors in the performance/active space as well relevant fashion and parallel industries. Actively share creative insights with team members.
- Have a basic understanding of design and fit intent, material and construction and be able to present ideas articulately to cross functional partners and design leadership. Collaborate with Senior Designer and Design Director for additional help.
- Ability to own a small style count from concept through creation; and partner with Senior Designer to manage the collaboration with cross functional partners to deliver innovative, brand appropriate, and impeccably fitting designs.
- Support and contribute to collections that execute against aligned line plans and assortment strategies, while delivering responsible cost targets.
- Create, maintain and update tech packs, sketches and design decks, including fit comments and design changes in PLM.
- Assist in preparation for key meetings by supporting Design leadership in board creation/ printing, gathering and organizing samples and styling models.
- Attending team fit sessions, helping to take style notes and assisting, when necessary, with cad, tech pack and design decks updates.
- Maintain inspiration and design samples and materials organization.
- Staying hyper focused on the Fabletics' consumer by actively reading consumer reviews online, store visits and participation in consumer insight events.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design and Product Development and proactively communicate changes and/or updates accordingly.
- Adhere to Global Calendar deadlines and expectations through each milestone point.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and assist wherever possible.
- Bachelor's Degree in fashion design
- 3+ year industry experience - specialization in activewear a plus!
- Passion for the brand and interest in body-inclusive design
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, working knowledge of PLM systems, Adobe Photoshop, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient knowledge of garment construction, fit and finishing
- Sharp attention to detail
- Possess a creative spirit, and effectively express your ideas
- Must be proactive and naturally inclined to problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes
- Ability to multi-task and adjust workload as a result of shifting priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships among team members, management and cross-functional teams
