Queen City Sports and Entertainment is looking for one versatile and driven candidate to champion social media management and content creation for the organization's two professional sports teams: Anthem Rugby Carolina (Men's Rugby) and the Charlotte Independence (Men's Soccer). This position requires 2-3 years of previous social media management experience. The ideal candidate will understand how to effectively manage all social media platforms with a focus on continued growth and expanded reach on current accounts.The organization is looking for a teammate who's self-motivated, takes initiative, has a strong work ethic, is adaptable to an ever-evolving business, has good customer service skills, communicates effectively, is organized, understands time management and task prioritization, energetic, enthusiastic and eager to learn and grow.The position requires the following skills:Regularly post text, video and images that engage the company's target market, follow online conversations on a company's social media accounts and solve customer concerns using social media platforms.Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus. Great verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Good at organizing, and prioritizing, tasks to meet key deadlines.Professional working experience with the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube.Work with the marketing department to identify and create effective and unique social media campaigns. Represent the brand, and the club, consistently and professionally across all social media channels when interacting with fans and customers.Analyze each team's overall social media strategy and identify areas of opportunity and growth. Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs.Research social media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the club's social media and digital marketing initiatives. MUST work collaboratively, have great time management skills and take direction well in a fast-paced, ever-changing sports landscape. Minimum Work Hours Required:Flex hours on non-game weekdays:7:00 am - 3:00 pm8:00 am - 4:00 pm9:00 am - 5:00 pm9:30 am - 5:30 pmWeekdays following a game on a week night:11:00 am - 5:00 pmGame day hours will start as required to execute the event effectively and vary depending on game start times.
