Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist to join our team at Volunteer Properties. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging content, designing promotional materials, and managing online presence across multiple social media platforms. This role requires a creative and organized professional who is skilled in digital marketing, graphic design, and community engagement. You will work closely with property managers to support resident and property events, ensuring a cohesive and vibrant online presence that reflects our properties and enhances resident experiences.


Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Graphic Design:

Design eye-catching flyers, online ads, and social media graphics to promote properties, events, and special offers.

Develop engaging multimedia content (images, videos, and written posts) for social media platforms.

Social Media Management:

Administer and manage property-specific social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).

Develop and execute content calendars, posting schedules, and daily engagement strategies to boost brand presence and interact with followers.

Collaboration and Event Support:

Partner with property managers to gather information on resident activities, property events, and other community happenings for promotional purposes.

Work alongside the property management team to plan, promote, and document on-site events for social media.

Advertising and Promotion:

Create and manage online ad campaigns to drive awareness and engagement for properties.

Track campaign performance and provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Content Scheduling and Media Partner Coordination:

Coordinate with media partners, digital platforms, and other marketing channels to schedule content and ads in line with promotional plans.

Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all platforms and partnerships.

Analytics and Performance Tracking:

Monitor and analyze the performance of social media channels, reporting on growth, engagement, and campaign success.

Adjust strategies based on data insights to enhance visibility, engagement, and brand reach.


Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation within property management or a related industry.

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Familiarity with social media analytics, advertising platforms, and paid ad management.


Additional Skills

Knowledge of property management and real estate industry practices and trends is required.

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and partner coordination.

A proactive approach to identifying content opportunities and engaging with the community.
