Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a fast-growing, reputable insurance brokerage seeking a Commercial Lines Producer.


You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships within the commercial insurance sector. You will leverage your expertise in insurance products and risk management to provide tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Prospect and generate leads through networking, referrals, and cold calling to expand the client base.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough insurance needs assessments for businesses, analyze risk exposures, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals to clients, outlining coverage options, policy terms, and premiums.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers to secure competitive pricing and favorable coverage terms for clients.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other key stakeholders to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Policy Management: Oversee the policy issuance process, including reviewing policy documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyze market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to advise clients on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and support staff, to deliver seamless service to clients.


Requirements:

  • Proven success as a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer or similar role within an insurance brokerage firm.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets and retaining clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and industry contacts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Active insurance producer license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field preferred.
